Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facilities and digital assets through advanced surveillance systems during overnight shifts
- Conduct security patrols and access control enforcement at designated government locations
- Respond to security incidents with appropriate escalation protocols and documentation
- Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports using federal compliance systems
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during emergency response scenarios
- Operate specialized security equipment including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Ensure all operations adhere to DHS and federal security regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a federal security clearance (minimum Secret)
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in security software and surveillance systems
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Completion of federal security training programs (FLETC preferred)
- Experience with remote monitoring technologies and VPN access
