Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned federal facilities during night shifts
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and suspicious activities per protocol
- Conduct access control procedures for personnel and vehicles
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Coordinate with federal law enforcement during critical situations
- Maintain communication protocols with day shift teams
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors, X-ray machines, and CCTV systems
Qualifications
- US citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in security technology and surveillance systems
- Strong written communication skills for report preparation
