Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and server performance to ensure 99.9% uptime during night operations.
- Execute routine maintenance scripts and security patches to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Respond immediately to critical alerts and resolve technical issues with minimal disruption.
- Document all incident reports, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps in the central database.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks in adherence to federal standards.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to ensure seamless operational continuity.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and mentorship to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is mandatory for federal contract eligibility.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or systems analysis.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, and Cisco networking infrastructure.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and regulatory compliance.
