Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veteran benefit claims and inquiries during designated weekend shifts.
- Maintain strict adherence to federal privacy laws, security protocols, and VA regulations.
- Coordinate with field offices in Virginia and Arizona to resolve complex case issues.
- Document all interactions and case updates accurately in federal case management systems.
- Conduct preliminary investigations and security screenings for facility access.
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families regarding their benefits.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in government operations, military service, or customer service.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call emergencies.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and federal case management software.
