About the Role:
As a Federal Operations Technician, you will be responsible for the oversight of facility systems and inventory management during off-hours. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and adhere to strict security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Facility Systems: Monitor and report on the operational status of HVAC, electrical, and security systems during weekend shifts.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular audits of federal supplies and manage stock levels to ensure 100% accountability.
- Data Entry: Accurately log daily operational activities, incidents, and maintenance requests into the federal database.
- Security Compliance: Enforce access control measures and adhere to federal security clearance procedures at all times.
- Emergency Response: Assist in emergency response protocols and coordinate with on-call supervisors when critical issues arise.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform minor preventative maintenance on office equipment and machinery.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer troubleshooting.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
