Responsibilities
- Assist in the intake, processing, and documentation of federal applications and claims with a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations, agency protocols, and privacy standards (FISMA).
- Communicate effectively with applicants, veterans, and stakeholders to provide status updates and clarify requirements.
- Perform high-volume data entry and record-keeping to ensure accurate departmental filing systems.
- Support the regional office team with administrative operations, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the department.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Clearance: Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain necessary security clearance.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong attention to detail.
