Responsibilities
- Manage the administration and processing of federal pension applications and retirement claims.
- Conduct thorough audits of pension records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert guidance to federal employees regarding retirement options and benefit calculations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to resolve complex benefit discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal labor laws and pension legislation.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits coordination, or federal human resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of ERISA, FERS, and other federal retirement systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to a diverse audience.
