Responsibilities
- Manage and process federal pension applications and claims with high accuracy and speed.
- Analyze employee service records to calculate pension benefits in accordance with OPM regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and guidance to federal employees regarding their retirement options and eligibility.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal laws, including ERISA and the Federal Employees' Retirement System (FERS) guidelines.
- Collaborate with the HR team to resolve complex benefit discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all pension transactions and employee inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or federal HR.
- Deep understanding of the Federal Employees' Retirement System (FERS) and CSRS.
- Strong knowledge of OPM (Office of Personnel Management) regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HRIS software.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
