Responsibilities
- Administer and audit federal pension plans to ensure strict ERISA compliance
- Analyze financial data and risk assessments for multi-billion dollar retirement funds
- Develop policy recommendations for pension modernization and regulatory updates
- Conduct training sessions for federal agencies on pension administration best practices
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on retirement benefit program enhancements
- Investigate pension plan violations and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare comprehensive reports for Congressional oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience (federal preferred)
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS Code 401(k), and federal retirement systems
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, QPA, or CFA) strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and regulatory reporting tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to complex financial details
- U.S. citizenship required
