Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans (FERS/CSRS) for 500+ employees
- Process retirement applications and benefit disbursements
- Advise employees on TSP investment strategies and retirement options
- Ensure compliance with OPM regulations and IRS guidelines
- Develop quarterly pension reports for agency leadership
- Coordinate with state agencies for pension portability cases
- Conduct annual pension plan audits and compliance checks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of federal pension/benefits administration experience
- Expertise in FERS, CSRS, and Thrift Savings Plan regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency with BENEFITS and HRIS systems
- U.S. citizenship required
