Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans (CSRS/FERS) for 500+ government employees
- Process retirement applications, survivor benefits, and annuity adjustments
- Conduct pension audits and compliance reviews under OPM guidelines
- Develop retirement education materials for federal agencies
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on policy implementation
- Manage TSP and Thrift Savings Plan contributions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal retirement systems
- FPMI or NAGPP certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CSRS/FERS regulations and OPM guidelines
- Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., NFC, HRS)
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality
- Strong analytical and client communication skills
