Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS systems
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and federal pension statutes
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct audits of pension plan documents and participant records
- Provide technical guidance to federal employees on retirement planning
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on policy implementation
- Generate quarterly compliance reports for congressional oversight
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or federal benefits experience
- Strong knowledge of federal retirement systems (FERS/CSRS)
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Proficiency in BENEFITS and HR Connect systems
- Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
