Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans ensuring adherence to ERISA and OPM regulations
- Process retirement applications and manage benefit calculations with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct compliance audits and resolve complex pension disputes
- Develop educational materials for federal employees transitioning to retirement
- Collaborate with IRS and OPM on policy implementation and reporting
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline pension administration processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Federal benefits certification (e.g., CBP, FSA) preferred
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Oracle HCM, ADP)
- Deep knowledge of TSP, FERS, and CSRS retirement systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
