Responsibilities
- Oversee pension plan administration and compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze complex retirement benefit calculations and actuarial reports
- Conduct audits of pension fund investments and third-party administrators
- Develop policy recommendations for retirement plan optimization
- Respond to congressional inquiries and stakeholder communications
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on retirement system modernization
- Maintain confidential participant records and benefit data systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Federal ERISA compliance certification (e.g., CEBS)
- Advanced proficiency in pension software (e.g., Milliman, Mercer)
- Active Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with federal retirement systems (FERS, CSRS)
