Responsibilities
- Administer and calculate pension benefits in accordance with FERS, CSRS, and other federal retirement guidelines.
- Review and audit retirement records to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal laws.
- Provide exceptional customer service to federal retirees and employees regarding pension inquiries and status updates.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports regarding pension liabilities, disbursements, and enrollment data.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve complex payroll and benefit discrepancies.
- Ensure all documentation meets security and privacy standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal pension administration or actuarial services.
- Strong working knowledge of FERS (Federal Employees Retirement System) and CSRS (Civil Service Retirement System) regulations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
