Responsibilities
- Analyze complex homeland security policies and recommend data-driven solutions
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop actionable strategic frameworks
- Prepare comprehensive briefings for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research to inform policy decisions
- Monitor emerging threats and assess policy effectiveness
- Coordinate with field offices to implement federal directives
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and reporting standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal policy analysis experience
- Expertise in quantitative research methodologies and statistical analysis
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in policy development frameworks (e.g., OMB Circular A-11)
- Demonstrated experience with homeland security issues
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
