Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal legislation and regulatory impacts on veteran services
- Develop policy recommendations through quantitative research and stakeholder interviews
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement strategic initiatives
- Prepare detailed briefings for congressional committees and senior leadership
- Monitor emerging trends in veteran healthcare and benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with federal procurement and reporting standards
- Lead interdepartmental task forces on veteran-centered policy reforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of federal government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in veterans' affairs or public healthcare systems
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with federal audiences
- Knowledge of GAO and OMB reporting frameworks
- U.S. citizenship required
