Responsibilities
- Analyze federal environmental policies and land management regulations
- Prepare detailed policy briefs for congressional stakeholders
- Coordinate interagency environmental impact assessments
- Lead stakeholder engagement with local government and tribal entities
- Develop compliance frameworks for federal land use permits
- Monitor legislative developments affecting public lands
- Maintain accurate records of policy implementation outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Environmental Science, or related field
- 3+ years of federal policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in environmental impact assessment methodologies
- Strong knowledge of NEPA and FLPMA regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Experience with stakeholder engagement in public land management
