Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Intake: Oversee the intake, processing, and documentation of federal and state applications for new residents and existing clients.
- Client Communication: Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person, answering inquiries regarding eligibility and program requirements.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all data entry meets federal compliance standards and audit requirements with 100% accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain secure, up-to-date digital and physical records for all program participants in compliance with privacy laws.
- Collaboration: Work closely with state agencies and local partners to coordinate resources and resolve complex case issues.
- Policy Adherence: Interpret and apply current federal and local regulations to ensure fair and equitable service delivery.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to obtain verification of citizenship for federal positions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, government administration, or data processing.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new case management software quickly.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen as required for federal employment.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
