Responsibilities
- Analyze program performance metrics and recommend operational improvements
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional briefings and senior leadership
- Manage federal budgets exceeding $2M with strict compliance requirements
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces on homeland security initiatives
- Develop policy recommendations aligned with federal regulations
- Conduct risk assessments for critical infrastructure programs
- Mentor junior analysts and cross-functional team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in federal budgeting systems (e.g., MAX)
- Advanced analytical skills with data visualization tools
- Expertise in Gantt charts and project management software
- Strong written communication for policy documents
- Certification in federal acquisition (FAC-C) preferred
