Responsibilities
- Analyze federal grant proposals and compliance reports for natural resource programs
- Develop performance metrics and evaluation frameworks for conservation initiatives
- Coordinate inter-agency communications with state and local partners
- Prepare briefing materials and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage program budgets exceeding $2M with federal procurement protocols
- Conduct site assessments for environmental impact studies
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with tribal and community organizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Proficiency in federal grant writing and compliance (2 CFR 200)
- Advanced data analysis skills with SQL and Tableau
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Knowledge of NEPA and Endangered Species Act regulations
- Experience with GIS mapping and spatial data analysis
- U.S. citizenship required
