Responsibilities
- Oversee federal program implementation for veterans' healthcare services across Ohio and Illinois regions
- Coordinate with state/local agencies to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Manage $5M+ annual budgets with rigorous financial oversight
- Develop strategic reports for congressional stakeholders and agency leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ federal contractors and employees
- Conduct performance audits and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure all operations meet VA and OMB performance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Master's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Experience with federal grants management (CFDA compliance)
- Proficiency in Gantt chart tools and federal reporting systems
- Knowledge of VA policies and veterans' service coordination
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
