Responsibilities
- Manage complex federal grant programs ensuring compliance with DHS regulations and OMB guidelines
- Coordinate interagency collaboration between federal, state, and local partners
- Develop strategic program plans with measurable outcomes and KPIs
- Oversee budget execution and financial reporting for multi-million dollar initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for program vulnerabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives and deliverables
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years federal program management experience
- GS-12/GS-13 level federal pay grade eligibility
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement and grant management systems
- Experience with homeland security initiatives or emergency management
- Proven ability to manage complex budgets and financial reporting
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
