Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives aligned with VA mission objectives
- Oversee program budgets exceeding $5M with strict federal compliance
- Coordinate with congressional offices and veteran advocacy groups
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend strategic improvements
- Lead cross-functional teams of 10+ federal employees
- Prepare comprehensive reports for congressional hearings
- Ensure adherence to federal acquisition regulations and GSA guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Expertise in federal budgeting and grant management
- Knowledge of VA regulations and federal procurement processes
- Proven track record of managing complex interagency projects
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CFA) highly desirable
