Responsibilities
- Coordinate veteran service programs across TN/VA districts with federal/state/local partners
- Analyze and optimize grant funding processes for veteran healthcare initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (VA, OMB, GAO standards)
- Develop monthly performance reports for congressional stakeholders
- Lead cross-agency task forces for veteran housing and mental health programs
- Manage budget allocations exceeding $2M annually
- Conduct site evaluations at VA facilities in Nashville and Richmond
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal/state/local government program management experience
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., GSA Advantage)
- VA-specific knowledge of 38 CFR regulations and veteran benefits
- Project management certification (PMP or similar) required
- Advanced Excel/Power BI skills for budget analysis
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Tennessee driver's license with clean record
