Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using advanced X-ray and detection technology
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections as required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes against passenger identities
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents
- Maintain accurate logs of security screenings and suspicious items
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse travelers
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Valid U.S. driver's license (if required for shift rotation)
- Ability to stand for extended periods in fast-paced environments
