Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer federal veteran benefit programs across Fresno County
- Analyze program data to identify service gaps and implement improvements
- Liaise with community organizations to enhance veteran outreach initiatives
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for federal regulatory requirements
- Manage caseloads with attention to veteran-centered care principles
- Conduct program evaluations and recommend policy adjustments
- Train staff on federal guidelines and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal program administration experience
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBA, VES) and federal compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
- Valid California driver's license (required for field visits)
- Experience with veteran service organizations preferred
