Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal healthcare programs for veterans in the Tampa Bay area
- Analyze program performance data and prepare compliance reports for OMB review
- Collaborate with VA medical centers and community partners on outreach initiatives
- Manage grant funding processes ensuring adherence to federal acquisition regulations
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for veteran benefit applications
- Represent the agency at intergovernmental meetings and stakeholder forums
- Maintain secure documentation in accordance with federal records management standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (5 CFR § 332.401)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., MAX.gov)
- Knowledge of VA regulations (38 CFR Parts 1-99)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA background clearance
