Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee federal grant programs ensuring compliance with VA regulations and OMB guidelines
- Analyze program performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for congressional stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives between federal agencies and community partners
- Develop implementation strategies for new veteran benefit programs
- Conduct audits of program expenditures to maintain fiscal accountability
- Represent the VA in community outreach events and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Expertise in federal grant management and procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience with VA-specific systems (e.g., VISTA, VAFFMS)
- Proven ability to manage multi-year federal budgets exceeding $1M
