Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives aligned with VA mission goals
- Analyze policy impacts and prepare compliance reports for congressional review
- Coordinate interagency collaborations with federal, state, and local partners
- Manage grant allocation and performance metrics for veteran services
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with veteran advocacy organizations
- Prepare legislative briefings and program evaluation documentation
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure program deliverables meet federal standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal government program experience
- Expertise in federal grant management and compliance (OMB Circulars)
- Advanced knowledge of veterans' affairs policies and regulations
- Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
