Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate federal grant programs supporting veteran healthcare initiatives
- Analyze program performance data and prepare compliance reports for OMB and congressional review
- Collaborate with state/local agencies to implement federal policy directives
- Conduct site visits and program evaluations for partner organizations
- Develop training materials for staff on federal regulatory compliance
- Respond to congressional inquiries and stakeholder communications
- Lead cross-functional teams for emergency response initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal program management experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., GSA Advantage)
- Knowledge of VA healthcare regulations and 38 CFR guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Excellent written communication for policy documentation
- US citizenship required
