Responsibilities
- Lead Project Lifecycle: Oversee the full project lifecycle for federal contracts, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency-specific guidelines, and internal policies.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, providing regular status updates and strategic briefings.
- Resource Allocation: Manage cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and optimize resources to maximize efficiency and project impact.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to safeguard project objectives.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor project financials, including cost forecasting, variance analysis, and resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal project management or contract administration.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or CPCM certification is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of DoD, VA, or DHS contract structures and acquisition processes.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
