Responsibilities
- Perform daily intake, processing, and storage of incoming federal documents and records.
- Digitize hard-copy records into secure databases with high accuracy.
- Conduct regular physical audits and inventory checks of archival storage facilities.
- Ensure strict compliance with government security regulations and privacy laws (NARA standards).
- Retrieve and deliver requested files to federal personnel in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of reports regarding record retention and disposal schedules.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Required for all federal contract roles.
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Records Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative support, records management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
