Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facility premises via CCTV systems and patrols during night hours
- Conduct access control screenings and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations with appropriate protocols
- Prepare detailed security reports and maintain incident documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Enforce federal security regulations and facility safety policies
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors, X-ray scanners, and communication devices
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in security surveillance systems and emergency response protocols
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Pass background investigation and pre-employment physical examination
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
