Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure federal facilities using advanced surveillance systems and access control protocols
- Conduct regular patrols and respond to security incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Operate X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and other security screening equipment
- Maintain detailed incident reports and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Enforce federal regulations and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Train junior officers on security procedures and emergency response protocols
- Perform background checks and credential verifications for personnel
Qualifications
- US citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Facility Security Clearance
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficient in surveillance technology and security software
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
