Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during night shifts
- Monitor security systems and respond to alarms/incidents within 5 minutes
- Screen personnel, vehicles, and packages for compliance with federal protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency responses
- Maintain access control points and verify credentials
- Participate in mandatory security drills and training exercises
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with surveillance technology and security software
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Physical ability to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
