Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct patrols of federal facilities
- Screen personnel and packages using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies with appropriate protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations
- Conduct access control and identity verification procedures
- Participate in emergency response drills and security training
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security software
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
