Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols of federal facilities
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports
- Conduct emergency response drills and security assessments
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners
- Collaborate with federal partners during joint operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance
- Minimum 3 years security or law enforcement experience
- Federal background investigation eligibility (SF-86)
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS security certification
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Availability for rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
