Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts during overnight hours
- Conduct regular patrols of federal facilities and perimeter security checkpoints
- Operate access control systems and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Document security incidents and submit detailed reports via federal systems
- Coordinate with local law enforcement during emergency response scenarios
- Enforce federal security protocols and conduct threat assessments
- Maintain communication with day-shift personnel for seamless operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years security/law enforcement experience or equivalent military service
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and access control software
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Completion of federal background investigation and polygraph
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25+ lbs
