Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents with swift, professional protocols
- Conduct access control screening and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Enforce federal security regulations and facility-specific policies
- Operate specialized security equipment including biometric scanners and communication systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and alarm response systems
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and polygraph examination
- Strong communication skills and de-escalation techniques
