Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly security patrols of federal facilities using advanced surveillance systems
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials for personnel and vehicles
- Respond to security incidents and alarms with decisive action protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security logs in accordance with federal standards
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Operate X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and other security equipment
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Ability to pass physical fitness requirements and background investigation
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
