Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facility premises during overnight hours
- Conduct access control operations and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies following federal protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation for federal compliance
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric systems and CCTV networks
- Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure security integrity
- Maintain communication protocols with day-shift personnel for seamless operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating schedule
- Proficiency in security surveillance systems and access control technology
- Strong communication skills for reporting and documentation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shift
