Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly surveillance and patrols of federal facilities using advanced monitoring systems
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials for all personnel/visitors
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and suspicious activity with decisive action
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and safety audits
- Train junior security staff on federal procedures and emergency protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, military, or security operations
- Valid Kansas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently during extended night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in CCTV systems, access control software, and emergency radios
- Physical fitness to handle emergency response and prolonged standing/walking
- Successful completion of federal background investigation and polygraph
- Preferred: Federal Protective Service certification or similar credentials
