Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities using advanced monitoring systems
- Enforce access control protocols, screening personnel and vehicles at entry points
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies with rapid tactical response
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation in compliance with federal standards
- Operate detection equipment including X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and biometric systems
- Collaborate with federal agencies and local law enforcement during joint operations
- Conduct regular equipment checks and preventative maintenance on security systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience (military or civilian)
- Valid Nevada driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with security technology systems (CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills and de-escalation techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
