Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during night shift hours
- Conduct security screenings and access control for personnel and visitors
- Respond to security incidents with appropriate escalation protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Train junior security personnel on federal compliance procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance
- Minimum 3 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit (CCW)
- Proficiency with C-CURE access control systems
- Ability to obtain DHS Facility Security Officer certification
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Physical fitness for extended standing/patrol duties
- Flexibility to work rotating night shift schedules (6PM-6AM)
