Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 surveillance operations using CCTV systems and motion detectors
- Enforce access control protocols for federal facilities using biometric scanners
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents with rapid deployment teams
- Generate detailed incident reports and maintain compliance logs
- Coordinate with federal law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Conduct perimeter patrols and vulnerability assessments
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors and X-ray machines
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years experience in security operations or law enforcement
- Valid New York State Security Guard License (SPO number)
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong observational skills and threat assessment capabilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Emergency First Aid and CPR certification
