Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly patrols and surveillance of federal premises using advanced monitoring systems
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies with federal law enforcement protocols
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security assessments for federal review
- Coordinate with federal agencies during joint security operations
- Maintain compliance with DHS security directives and NIST standards
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of physical security systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of security/law enforcement experience
- Proficiency in CCTV systems, access control software, and alarm monitoring
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Physical ability to perform night patrols and emergency response
- Knowledge of federal security regulations (CFR Title 44)
