Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments of federal facilities and maritime assets in Long Beach Harbor
- Enforce federal security protocols including access control and threat detection systems
- Collaborate with CBP, FBI, and Coast Guard on joint security operations
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed compliance reports
- Develop emergency response plans for critical infrastructure protection
- Train personnel on federal security regulations and best practices
- Monitor security systems and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal security or law enforcement
- Knowledge of CFATS, MTSA, and federal maritime security regulations
- Strong analytical skills and experience with security risk assessment methodologies
- Certification in Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies 24/7
- Proficient in security software systems (e.g., Genetec, Milestone)
