Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security inspections of vehicles, cargo, and travelers at the international port of entry
- Enforce federal immigration, customs, and agricultural regulations with precision
- Operate advanced screening technologies including X-ray machines and chemical detection systems
- Document all activities using digital reporting systems while maintaining strict chain of custody protocols
- Collaborate with federal partners including CBP, ICE, and DEA during joint operations
- Respond to emergency situations including medical incidents and security breaches
- Maintain 100% compliance with federal security protocols and audit standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, law enforcement, or military service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital evidence documentation systems
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Fluent English/Spanish bilingualism required
- Successful completion of federal background investigation and polygraph examination
- Physical fitness certification (ability to lift 50 lbs and pass agility tests)
