Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend security patrols of federal maritime facilities using advanced surveillance systems
- Perform access control screenings for personnel and vehicles under TSA protocols
- Monitor CCTV networks and respond to security incidents 24/7
- Coordinate with federal agencies (FBI, CBP) during joint operations
- Enforce federal regulations and security procedures at port entry points
- Complete detailed incident reports and security assessments
- Participate in mandatory federal training drills and certifications
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Ability to work rotating weekends (Fri-Sun) with federal holiday coverage
- Successful completion of federal background investigation
- Physical fitness test certification (ability to stand/walk 8+ hours)
- Knowledge of maritime security regulations (33 CFR 105)
